We opted for a late checkout at Great Wolf and were able to spend the morning playing in the park.
We packed up around one and grabbed Jimmy John’s for lunch. We went in search of a cheese shop, because when in Rome… I mean, Wisconsin.
Then it was off to Minnesota! Crossing over the Mississippi River was pretty amazing.
It was a long driving day, but Griff napped most of the time which was appreciated! We grabbed groceries at Hy-Vee (need these in the Northeast) and then off to camp at the Albert Lea / Austen KOA. This one was truly in a cornfield! It was a great campground and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
We swam and ate a delicious dinner, then grabbed an ice cream treat for our sunset walk!
Up and out before 9 this morning and another long day of travel. Cheers!
Again, thank you. I feel like I’m seeing the kids – I do miss them. A lot.
